Can I use frozen chicken breasts?
The USDA has determined that using frozen meat or poultry in a slow cooker is unsafe. The meat will remain at the dangerous temperature range where bacteria can grow for an extended period of time, which is the cause.
Before you cook the recipe, I would suggest thawing your chicken in the refrigerator for one or two days.
I couldn’t find the frozen egg noodles
Even though they are becoming more popular, not all grocery stores carry frozen egg noodles. You can use a bag of homestyle egg noodles instead. Watch the amount of moisture in the crock; they might require additional broth.
