Floor and decor is an American speciality retailer of hard surface flooring and related accessories. The Floor and Decore’s stores offer tile, wood, laminate, natural stone flooring products, and decorative accessories.

Purchase a product at Floor and decor and you are not satisfied, or you order a wrong product and want to return it? Don’t worry you just need to read Floor and decore’s return policy. Here we will explain in an easy way.

Once an order has been loaded and is in route to the shipping address, Floor & Decor will charge all applicable shipping fees as part of the return. The customer is solely responsible for all outgoing and return shipping costs. Any items returned without return authorization, including canceled orders and refused shipments, are subject to a 10 percent restocking fee.

Orders cancelled prior to shipping can be cancelled without penalty. If you decide to cancel an order, please call our customer care specialists immediately at 877-675-0002. Hours are Monday-Thursday 7 am to 11 pm, Friday 7 am to 9 pm, Saturday 8 am to 9 pm and Sunday 9 am to 6 pm (all times Eastern).

After Floor & Decor receives the product, please allow 36 hours to process the return, but this time can vary. All returns will be verified by the receiving location to verify what has been returned and that it is unopened, unused, and in resalable condition. Your refund will be provided by the same method you originally used to order the product(s). Any items returned without return authorization, including canceled orders and refused shipments, are subject to a 10 percent restocking fee.

Floor & Decor is not responsible for any loss or claim due to faulty installation. It is the responsibility of the customer to validate the credentials, references, insurance and certification of installers before any work begins. Claims for product damage or shortages must be made upon receipt of product. Thoroughly inspect all products before installation as use will constitute acceptance. Installed flooring cannot be exchanged or returned for any reason.

If you are unable to return the products to one of our store locations, you can ship the product back to the destination in which it was shipped. You will need to acquire a Return Merchandise Authorization, as well as package the product so it is ready for shipment. For orders shipped by truck (LTL), product must be on a pallet, and either shrink wrapped or strapped onto the pallet. If the product is not properly secured to a pallet, the trucking company will not be able to pick up the product form your home/business. For orders shipped by Fedex, must be packaged securely for shipment. The customer is responsible for all original and return shipping costs. Return Your Floor & Decor Item via Mail

To mail the product you want to return, you need to contact customer care at 770-421-3705 or 877-675-0002. A customer care agent will provide you with the shipping instructions. Keep in mind that you’ll be charged for all return shipping costs.

You should choose between two different shipping methods:

You can use FedEx for items that are smaller than 13 inches and lighter than 75 pounds. For products that are over 13 inches and 75 pounds, you can mail them with LTL.

In case you bought an item at Floor & Decor Design Studio, the company allows returns via mail. You should call customer service and get the mailing instructions.

Can You Return a Product to Floor & Decor Without the Receipt?

If you don’t have the receipt to prove your purchase, you can still return the product you no longer want. When returning the goods in person, make sure to bring your ID. The company will keep your records to prevent fraud and to process your return.

Floor & Decor reserves the right to refuse or limit a refund or an exchange for returns without a valid receipt.

Can you return tile?

Tile can only refund orders placed directly through our website. If you purchased your Tile(s) through another party (like Amazon.com), contact them for return instructions. You can return your Tile for a refund within 30 days from the day you received your Tile shipment.

Can you take something back to the store without a receipt?

No store has to change or refund an item simply because the owner does not like the colour. But where an item fails, shops do not have the right to demand a receipt. A credit card slip or statement or even the say-so of a person who was present when the products were purchased, are legally enough.

Can I return extra flooring to Home Depot?

Call us for assistance at: 1-800-430-3376. Most new, unopened merchandise sold by The Home Depot can be returned within 90 days of purchase, unless noted in our Return Policy Exceptions Return Policy Exceptions.
