San Diego International Airport is the first place many visitors see when they arrive. Located on San Diego Bay, just moments from downtown, it creates a lasting impression – a jewel in a radiant setting. San Diego International Airport is also the last place many visitors see when they leave. And we are adding to that impression with the largest expansion ever undertaken here. With an expanded Terminal 2, new boutique shops and award-winning restaurants including Stone Brewing Co., and an amazing collection of artwork, youll want to spend more time at the airport! And the convenient Rental Car Facility offers easy in and out access from the airport to all locations around town.

Ticketing counters for Frontier Airlines will be adjacent to and west of Alaska Airlines’ current ticket counters in Terminal 1. In addition, three self-service kiosks will be available to the traveling public in the alcove across from Frontier’s ticketing area.

All Frontier Airlines arrivals into San Diego International Airport will use Terminal 1 baggage claim carousel 3.

Signage along airport roadways and in the terminals will be changed to reflect the new location of Frontier Airlines.

SAN DIEGO – July 11, 2014 – Effective Tuesday, July 15, 2014, Frontier Airlines will move from Terminal 2 East to a new location in Terminal 1 at San Diego International Airport. In Terminal 1, Frontier Airlines will operate from Gate 12 in the west rotunda.
