Hopefully resetting your Roomba will solve any performance issues that you might have.
But if your problems continue and you think they might be battery related, it could be that you need to take better care of your vacuum’s battery.
Why does my Roomba not charge?
If your Roomba 650 still does not work properly after the reset and does not charge even though it is connected to its Base Station, either the Base Station contacts or the Roomba contacts may be dirty, preventing power from being transmitted.
So the very first thing to do is to clean the contacts. It can happen that during a cleaning cycle dust and dirt accumulate at these places and thus prevent the current transmission and thus the charging of the battery.
When cleaning, however, remember that your Roomba 650 is an electronic device and that you do not work with too much water. It is best if you use a slightly damp cloth and wipe off the contacts so that they are clean again.
For coarser dirt, it is usually enough to just walk your finger over it and clean the contacts with your finger. When cleaning the contacts, make sure that the charging station current is not plugged in.
