Angie starts out as Oscars best friend, who harbors a huge crush on him. Upon learning of Oscars huge debt to Mr. Sykes, she scolds him before presenting her Grandmothers pink pearl, telling him that dreams that start small could one day turn into something bigger. However, unbeknownst to Angie, Oscar blows the money and is punished by Ernie and Bernie. After Oscar becomes the “Sharkslayer”, she is shown to be very proud of him, visiting him at his new South Side Reef home with a lava lamp in tow.

Angie is a pretty marine angelfish, with a magenta scale tone and purple “hair” (her fin). Her abdomen is the same color as her head, but her face is a lighter lavender. Her tail a bluish violet that alternates or shimmers as she moves. Her arm-fins are a light blue color. Angie bears a slight resemblance to her voice actress RenĂ©e Zellweger.

Angie is initially very friendly and kind, even though Oscars obliviousness and blatant hatred for his being a nobody can make her short temper burst. Despite her exasperation with Oscar, shes very generous towards him, checking him in for work and even giving him her grandmothers precious pink pearl to pay off his debt to Sykes. This mostly stems from her unrequited love for Oscar, and seems to be constantly waiting for a sign that he feels the same about her.

Angie is beautiful and kind and she helps Oscar pay of 5,000 clams to Sykes (which he bets on a horse race) and advises that dreams began small, but as time goes on, they can grow into something wonderful. Oscar was unaware of Angies feelings for him and he selfishly put his own needs before hers. After Angie found out that Oscar was a fake, she was angry with him. However, she did quickly take a liking to Lenny, calling him “honey” on one occasion. Angie is later kidnapped by Lino, but Oscar, Lenny, and Sykes managed to rescue her. When Oscar traps Lino and (accidentally) Lenny in the Whale Wash machines, Angie assumes that hes going to forget about her in favor of fame and glory and she begins to swim away. Oscar then tells everyone that hes not really a sharkslayer and in the end, Angie forgives him and they kiss. It is then shown that Angie reconciles with Oscar, and Sykes forgives Oscar for the 5 grants.

The next morning she is kidnapped due to Lolas intervention. Oscar and Lenny rush to rescue her, and she is “eaten” by “Sebastian the Dolphin” (who is actually Lenny in disguise) but later regurgitated. After Oscars battle with Don Lino, upon seeing Oscar mobbed with fanatics and press, she begins to leave, believing that Oscar will continue to live a lie. But upon his confession that it was all a sham, she and Oscar reconcile, kiss, and get together.

After Oscar finishes a Sharkslayer stunt, Lola smiles and decides to reward him. She slowly swims up behind Oscar and in full view of the cameras. She grabs his hand, spins him around, and firmly grabs him with one fin on the side of his torso and one on the back of his head. This is to prevent him from resisting or moving away. Lola then immediately locks lips with Oscar, putting her large, lipstick-clad lips on his. Oscar doesnt resist and actually smiles, showing that he is enjoying this passionate yet forceful kiss. Angie sees Lola making out with Oscar on TV and gets jealous. After she leaves, we see that the make-out session is still going strong, with Lolas large lips still pressed firmly on Oscars. She still remains floating above him and holding him firmly to keep him in place while his arms remain down and off of Lolas body. While the make-out session occurs, news reporter, Katie Current, says that Oscar has conquered a few hearts and that he, the reefs most eligible bachelor, has been snapped up.

The next day, Oscar buys some Valentines Day gifts for Angie, but before he can present them to her, he finds that Don Lino has kidnapped Angie to force a sit-down. Lenny comes along now disguised as a dolphin named Sebastian. They arrive at the meeting to find Lola (who obviously arranged the whole thing) next to Don Lino, while Angie is tied up and presented to Don Lino on a plate who prepares to eat her if Oscar doesnt comply. In response, Oscar has Lenny (disguised as a dolphin) to grab Angie and eat her on the spot (grabbing her in her mouth, but not swallowing). But Lenny starts choking and vomits Angie out, causing Lino to recognize his son. Lola watches as Lino then chases Oscar out of the sit-down and towards the Whale Wash.

In the ending credits, Lola is looking for Oscar at his penthouse (unaware that Oscar isnt there), saying that she knows shes been a bad girl, but Oscar would be crazy not to take her back. But instead of Oscar, its really Crazy Joe waiting for her and he shouts, “Did somebody say CRAZY?!” he then shuts off the lights.

Quote

“You know, Sharkslayer, theres only one thing I like better than money: revenge.” “Hello? Hello! Oscar? Listen, baby, I know I was a bad girl. Come on. You have to be crazy. Not to take me back.”

Lola is shallow and superficial, and she knows it. She blatantly stated to Oscar that she was “Really superficial.” and rebuked his affections, saying, “Dont get me wrong, youre cute. But youre a nobody.” She has no interest in those who are not “top of the reef” and is a self-proclaimed gold-digger. Her biggest interest in the film was money; however, she admitted there was one thing she liked better: Revenge, as she vows revenge on Oscar for dumping her and was even perfectly willing to arrange the sharks to kidnap Angie in exchange for Oscars obedience, even threatening Angies life to do so. She is also highly manipulative and seductive, as shown in the film, where she entranced many male fish, including a married Shark. And she is also known as level-headed, obstinate, loathsome, abrasive, menacing, ill-tempered, solemn, sneaky, prideful, emotionless, roguish, fiendish, efficient, insensitive, thoughtless, philosophical, relentless, educated, treacherous, traitorous, mean, lion-hearted, ambitious, determined and haughty.
