Its been one year since Chip and Joanna Gaines opened the doors to their Waco, Texas-based bakery, Silos Baking Co., and the Fixer Upper stars celebrated in the only way they know how: Creating a rustic chic party that seems destined for “Party Planning” Pinterest boards everywhere.
Joanna posted photos of the event on Facebook and Instagram on Thursday, which featured massive displays of colorful balloons, row after row of rainbow bunting over the patio, and a special birthday cake cupcake that was sold for one day only.
Fitting with the theme, the cupcake was sprinkled with rainbow nonpareils that echoed the hundreds of balloons swirling around the front of the store.
Magnolia Market tapped Hello Maypole, a small business out of Salt Lake City, Utah, to create felt ball-topped party hats for everyone to wear, carrying on the lighthearted, whimsical theme. (And, in case youre interested, Hello Maypole posted a tutorial for making them yourself.)
