How to Visit the Shin-Yokohama Ramen Museum

The most well-known museum dedicated to instant noodles is probably the Shin-Yokohama Ramen Museum. The museum has a sizable food court that is created to resemble an outdoor dining area from 1958 in Japan, the year the instant noodle was invented.

The museum debuted in March 1994 as an amusement park with a culinary theme. There are currently 9 small ramen restaurants there where you can order ramen. It’s a typical Japanese dining experience: choose a restaurant, purchase a ticket at a machine outside the restaurant, and enter the establishment.
