How To Make A Chair Out Of Pool Noodles

Two foam noodles are needed for each chair because they provide additional backing and support to maintain the chair’s curved shape. Honor Trading Company is here to provide you with an abundance of noodles for any purpose you may require if you intend to make a few of these cozy floaties. We have warm, inviting, long-lasting red foam noodles that will last you the entire summer. We also carry noodles in other colors, such as green and yellow!

Now, on to creating your chair. To make sure it fits comfortably, take your pool noodle and wrap it around your body just below your shoulder; the end should be about where your hands are. But if the noodle is too long, trim it slightly with your knife. Next, cut your second foam noodle in half, and latch it onto the two ends of your first foam noodle using two zip ties. Your chair should look like a capital D.

Advice: You can construct more chairs with the remaining half of your second foam pool noodle.

You are now one step closer to unwinding, so get your mesh netting and let’s get started. Laundry bags are great options, so check in the laundry aisle of your local grocery store to find your mesh netting. You can use your bag to make more chairs if you cut off the top and bottom and then cut it in half diagonally.

Congratulations! Hopefully this will be your first time creating a lounge chair out of pool noodles. You’re now prepared to drift into the endless, carefree summertime days of haze.

2. Cut your pool noodles.

Next, depending on your preferred length and color, you will require roughly six pool noodles. They are available online as well as in most local stores that sell swimwear.

We ordered ours in bulk on Amazon, and they worked great. (Note: Not all pool noodle holes will fit the same size PVC pipe, so keep this in mind when shopping.)

1. Create your main structure.

Make sure you have all the parts because the PVC pipe will serve as your chair’s primary structure and support.
