How to Make Tuna Noodle Casserole
This tuna casserole recipe’s best feature is how easy it is to put together. Once it’s in the oven, serve it with a simple caesar salad to complete the meal. While the noodles are cooking, just combine all the ingredients and stir everything together. Sprinkle on the crumb topping and pop into the oven!.
I use egg noodles for this tuna casserole, but you can use any type of pasta you like! Just make sure to cook the noodles “al dente” because they will continue to cook in the oven and you don’t want mushy noodles! We use simple vegetables including onion, celery, and peas. Any vegetable will work well in this recipe, such as roasted carrots, steamed broccoli, or leftover green beans.
It’s great to prepare this tuna casserole recipe in advance and bake it later because it can be made ahead of time. The cheesy, creamy mushroom sauce is sure to please even the most discriminating palates!
