The sauce as I made it is definitely spicy. If you would prefer a milder spice, you can reduce the amount of red pepper. My spouse and I like our spice to be more on the facet, especially to counterbalance the sauce’s sweetness. M, who is unquestionably her father’s daughter, also enjoyed how hot these were. Whoa, proud mama moment—she even asked for more Sriracha on her plate!
