These noodles are incredibly adaptable and ideal for both lunch and dinner. You only need a few basic ingredients to make this recipe, most of which are probably already in your pantry, and they also make a great snack!

You can use keto egg noodles in place of pasta, so feel free to add some interesting flavoring to them. I enjoy tossing them in a little alfredo sauce or seasoning them with salt, pepper, and parmesan.

Almond flour was used in this recipe to improve the noodle texture. However, you can omit this if you’re following the keto egg fast.

  • Eggs are the main ingredient, which is why they are called egg noodles!
  • Cream Cheese – high in fat, and low in carbs. One low-carb staple I use frequently is cream cheese!
  • Almond Flour: This makes the egg noodles less eggy by improving their texture. Leave this out if doing the keto egg fast.
  • Salt – This ensures that the noodles arent completely bland.

Keto Egg Noodles Taste and Texture

Remarkably, these taste nothing like eggs, despite what you might think. I was worried about that as well. Although they taste somewhat eggy, they don’t taste like you’re eating strips of egg. Cream cheese absorbs some of the egg flavor while softening the noodles. The flavor of these noodles is very subtle, almost nonexistent. You shouldn’t taste any egginess at all as long as you serve them with something really flavorful.

Step by step Instructions

Step 1. Set a small blender with all the ingredients and preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Blend everything until smooth, which should take about 10 seconds.

Step 2. Pour the mixture gradually onto a medium-sized baking sheet that has been parchment papered. Spread the mixture evenly across the baking sheet using a spatula.

Step 3. For five to seven minutes, bake the egg mixture in the oven.

Step 4. After taking the egg mixture out of the oven, cut it into thin ribbons with a knife. Serve immediately with marinara sauce, parmesan, or enjoy them plain!.
