Step 11: Last Layer
Noodles – Sauce – Mozzarella – Parmesan – (no Ricotta) – DONE!
There you have it, youre ready to bake your Lasagna!
Step 9: Add Your 2nd Layer of Lasagna Noodles
Add your second layer of lasagna noodles. I turned the arrangement around, placing the broken noodle filler at the other end. It doesn’t really matter; I’m just using my natural brick-laying ability to balance the layers. :-).
Well, you’re just going to keep layering on steps instead of adding them until your head spins. For a total of three layers.
Noodles – Ricotta (1/2) – Sauce (1/2 jar) – Cheese (1/3) – Parmesan (1/3) = 1 layer
Total of 3 layers.
[As I previously stated, the ricotta is missing from the third layer; if you divided it into thirds, you would use 1/3 ricotta for each layer.] ].
Step 2: Test Fit Your Noodles
Make sure the noodles fit into your baking pan so that they can be piled high or nearly flat.
I was able to fit three noodles wide in a 9 by 13-inch pan with some wiggle room. Additionally, I broke a noodle to the required length and filled the extra space at the ends of the noodles.
