I am aware that this goes against the general Italian advice to never add oil to pasta water when cooking pasta, but a small amount of oil is necessary to ensure that the lasagna noodles cook without sticking.

The next crucial step is to continuously stir the lasagna noodles once you have a large pot of water boiling for them. Noodles will often cling to one another when they first come into contact with water.
You can force the lasagna noodles to separate and cook them evenly by stirring and stirring them frequently.
Since it helps me separate the noodles that stick together, I like to use a toothed pasta spoon for this.
How Long To Cook Lasagna Noodles

Overcooking the lasagna results in a mushy dish. Your lasagna will turn out dry if you undercook the pasta because it absorbs all of the liquids.
I usually like to check the manufacturer’s instructions for cooking pasta to al dente to determine how long to cook the lasagna noodles.
I then reduce the duration by roughly two minutes. Therefore, I will only cook the pasta for 8 minutes even if the box says to cook it for 10 minutes until it’s al dente.
The cooking instructions provided by each manufacturer will differ according to the type of pasta. Therefore, find the directions for cooking pasta until it is al dente, or with a bite, and shorten the cooking time by approximately two minutes.
This is usually the difficult part for people because, since the lasagna noodles are not fully cooked before being added, you can’t really test or taste them to determine their doneness.
