Friends, for years, this baked mac and cheese has been a family favorite. Years ago, we had it at a BBQ and have been making it ever since. Because we were initially informed that the recipe was Matts Uncle Bills, we referred to it as Uncle Bills baked mac and cheese for many years. Then, a few years ago, we discovered that Aunt Missy’s recipe was behind it. At least thats what we think. whoevers recipe it is, its our favorite. This is what I am consistently asked to bring whenever we attend a cookout or potluck. by both kids and adults! The best part. There are only a few ingredients, and the macaroni doesn’t need to be boiled first. Without further ado, here is Uncle Bill and Aunt Missy’s Baked Macaroni and Cheese: simply combine the ingredients in a dish, place it in the oven, and serve!

How to Boil Macaroni (Step-by-Step Instructions)
For every pound of pasta, add 4 liters of cold water to a pot. You might need more or less water depending on how much macaroni you’re using. 300 grams of macaroni will be needed for this amount of water.
Put 1 tbsp of salt in the water. By adding salt to the water, you can season the pasta and give it the most flavor. Without it, it can taste a bit bland. Use about a tablespoon per pound of macaroni. You can always change the dosage to your liking.
Cover the pot and bring it to the boil. The boiling times could change, so keep an eye on the pot frequently. Given that it could take up to ten minutes,
Remove the lid. Put the 300 grams of uncooked macaroni in the pot. Make sure the freshly boiled water doesn’t splash toward you.
Don’t just leave the pot alone after adding the macaroni. Keep stirring the macaroni periodically, perhaps every minute or so. This will enable the pasta to cook uniformly. If you don’t, the pasta may have an inconsistent texture.
