Although not the spiciest in their range, I believe this to be the true benchmark for the recent heatwave that instant noodles have gone through. Every year, Buldak seems to get a little hotter. If this is 3x, that’s 13,200 SHU. It was quite difficult to get down, but I managed to do so. Nice flavor and very, very hot. The only variety I’ve NOT been able to conquer. Fail. Twice. First of all, aside from their intense spice, I find these to taste terrible—like burnt plastic curry.
