My new obsession: Instant Pot ramen noodles! They’re so simple to make, healthier than the boxed variety, and a great late-afternoon or afternoon snack. You can even top it off with some cooked chicken, steak, or pork to make it a full meal.

  • 1 ramen “cake”
  • 1 1/2 cup chicken stock
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp dried minced onion
  • 1 tsp granulated garlic
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 thinly sliced mushroom
  • Optional: chopped green onion
  • Pour the stock in the Instant Pot. Place in the ramen cake. Add the remaining ingredients on top of the ramen. Put your Instant Pot’s lid on, close the valve, and program the cook time to one minute on high pressure.
  • When the cook time is complete, quick release the pressure. After carefully taking off the lid, toss the ramen noodles in the broth with a fork to loosen them up.
  • Pour the ramen soup into a bowl and enjoy. (Optional: top with chopped green onion).

It’s really simple to make, but make sure you are close by when the cook time is up, as you have to release the pressure right away to prevent the noodles from being overdone.

To make more servings, you can simply double or triple the recipe. If you increase the quantity by two or three, the cooking time won’t change.

How To Make Ramen Noodle Soup In The Instant Pot

To begin, open the ramen noodle package and take out the flavor packet. Save it for later!.

Next, break the noodles into smaller pieces and add them to the Instant Pot. Add 2 cups of water to the pot.

Put the Instant Pot lid back on and adjust the valve so that it seals. Hit the “Pressure Cook” or “Manual” button, then select “High pressure” for 0 minutes. After cooking is complete, quickly release (QR) the steam from the Instant Pot.

Once the steam has cleared, remove the Instant Pot’s lid. Stir in the flavor packet.

Serve hot and enjoy!

  • Top the ramen with sliced green onion.
  • Stir in some miso paste for miso ramen.
  • Add some sriracha for a kick!
  • Drizzle on some toasted sesame oil.

What To Serve With Ramen Noodle Soup

This soup can be eaten as a light meal on its own or combined with another recipe to make a hearty lunch or dinner. You could even stir in some vegetables to make a bowl that is even more satisfying. You can also whisk an egg into the ramen noodle soup (as in Instant Pot egg drop soup) or try adding some frozen peas and corn. Yum!.
