- Serrated Knife
- Cutting Board
- Using a serrated knife, cut your pool noodles to length. I made my lightsabers 33″ long.

- Add the black electrical tape strips. You will make 3 strips of black tape. My strips were about an inch apart. This does not have to be exact.
- Attach a pair of brief electrical tape segments towards the swim noodle’s base. These were about 1 3/4″ in length.
- NEVER cut the pool noodle with a double-sided lightsaber.
- One strip of duct tape at a time, encircle the pool noodle’s center. I used seven duct tape strips, arranging them slightly on top of one another.
- Over the duct tape, wrap the black electrical tape. Apply one electrical tape strip to each end of the duct tape. The two strips in the middle are double wide.
