Use different noodles: wide rice noodles or soba noodles are good alternatives to ramen noodles.

Add some protein by chopping up some shrimp or plain chicken breast and adding them to the mixture, or by adding some ground beef or turkey. Feel free to get creative!.

Add some vegetables: Sautéed broccoli, julienned carrots, bell peppers, cabbage, mushrooms, or edamame are my favorites for this.

Add peanut butter: In a dish this simple, a small amount of peanut butter can make a big difference. I’d start with 2 tablespoons and adjust as needed.

You could use tahini instead of peanut butter because we’re using toasted sesame oil, and it would work really well with the flavors.

After made, these hot ramen noodles can be stored in the refrigerator for three to five days. Allow them to cool fully before putting them in an airtight container.

Simply reheat until warm in the stovetop or microwave with a little water, chicken broth, or oil.

They also go well cold as a noodle salad with added vegetables!
