The old phrase if you can’t handle the heat takes on new meaning with the Nissin Foods Hot & Spicy Fire Wok Noodles. While Nissin Foods has always found a way of making flavorful food convenient, this newest addition to the food brand’s offering could make you a little hot under the collar. Are your chopsticks prepared for this extreme heat?
Recently, Nissin Foods has launched several products. While the Chief Noodle Officer has offered some tasty creations, many people have happily devoured the Stir Fry offerings. Although the Cup Noodles and Top Ramen can be customized in many ways, many consumers are craving big, bold flavors. At the same time, they want the convenience. Granted, a bottle of sriracha might always be on the table, but it is more than just adding a condiment to the mix.
The Nissin Foods Hot & Spicy Fire Wok Noodles are not for the timid tasters. If you can only handle one or two flames on the heat meter, these noodles might be too extreme for that delicate palate. To say that these noodles are spicy is an understatement.
Available in three flavors, Sizzlin Rich Pork, Scorchin’ Sesame Shrimp and Molten Chili Chicken. If you are looking to ease yourself into the spiciness, the Sizzlin Rich Pork is the least spicy. For those ready to jump into the deep end, the Molten Chili Chicken would the option.
Recently, I had the opportunity to try these Hot & Spicy Noodles and I will admit that the flavors might have caused a few tears, a slow burn and almost a yearning for a piece cheese. At the same time, that heat which rose in my cheeks was a welcome enjoyment on a chilly day. Sometimes some spicy food helps you sweat away your sins.
While these noodles are boldly flavored, there is a little way to temper the heat if you are not ready to go to the extreme. With the Fire Sauce packet, you can dial back the extra seasoning. But, if you can handle some Cheetos Flamin Hot Sushi, definitely don’t be afraid of the seasoning.
If you are a little trepidatious about the heat, consider having some sugar on hand. While everyone knows that milk tempers the capsaicin, sugar works in a pinch. Just like a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down, it works to bring the heat down, too.
As a new addition to the Nissin Foods line-up, the big, bold spicy noodles are a great choice. Consumers are tired of boring and bland. Even consider blending some plain noodles with the spicy ones to build up to the heat. Not everyone can dive into the deep end of the spice pool.

The soups are only sold in a pack of two, so there are no more than two in the pack. Can you tell me how many Scoville this product has?
I would say that it is not as hot as a jalapeno but a little hotter than a habanero. The water is a little hotter than mine, so Id estimate that its between 100,000 and 110,000 calories The Scoville scale is set at 150,000.

We took our already flavorful Hot & Spicy noodles and cranked up the heat a few sweat-inducing notches to create our spiciest, most flavorful meals ever. Each bowl includes a Fire Sauce packet to create precisely spiced noodles in sauce (with no added MSG) in only five microwavable minutes. FIRE WOK is available in three increasingly spicy flavors: Sizzlin’ Rich Pork (SPICE LEVEL 4), Scorchin’ Sesame Shrimp (LEVEL 5) and Molten Chili Chicken (AT LEVEL 6!!!) … You’ve been warned.
Selected User Reviews For Nissin Fire Wok Stir Fry Molten Chili Chicken Asian Noodles 37 oz ( Pack of 2 ) I hate it3/5
NO WAY TO EVEN GET STARTED ON DESCRIBING. THE TEXTURE IS UGLY AND THE TASTING IS UGLY.
Elijah HOWARTH | Feb 19, 2021 There is nothing better than molten chili 5/5
I love the taste of hot and spicy food.
Azariah McLean | Sep 13, 2020 I have already opened the package 3/5
Inside the container were vegetable and seasoning packets that had already been discarded. In the end, she threw away the entire bowl.
Molly Clayton | Oct 21, 2020 The taste is both spicy and tasty 5/5
It is both spicy and tasty.
Jaylee PICKERING | Jan 12, 2021 I love it 5/5

Lucille Cook | May 15, 2021 You are the best 5/5
I absolutely love Im so sorry.
Selah Ball | Apr 04, 2021 The dish tastes like spicy beans topped with tomato sauce and cabbage 3/5
Its mildly spicy. There is something pasty about the sauce, like bean paste, but there are no beans in it. Whats inside is some mix of dried vegetables that have congealed into a slime. It smells like rotting stuff. Theres a strong smell of burning beans on the bottom of the pan when you were reheating some black beans. In general, the noodles are fine, just like with any other cheap Nissin product, which, BTW, cost Nissin noodle bowls sell for $1 at my local grocery store, but 75 cents at my local market. There is hardly any spice in the meal. There is less spice in this than the usual bowl of ramen after you dic up a Thai red chili and toss it in. In addition to the sweetness at the beginning, there is a hint of saltiness, cabbage, and a vague funkiness, reminiscent of kimchi. Neither chicken nor chicken seasoning can be detected in this product. One of the testers spit out the mouthful after taking a taste. A dirty gym sock, as she described it, was the way it tasted. Overall, this is far from the best ramen Ive ever had, but its still not the worst for sure. Its got a bit of a kick, but is far from the spiciest, either. I rate it 2 out of 10.
Anastasia Pitts | Aug 06, 2021 The flavor was not very strong and the spice was not very strong 3/5
I expected these to be really hot, so I had to prepare with a bottle of water, but didnt like them at all. There is hardly any flavor to speak of. The noodles were bland, so I had to use chicken seasoning on them to make them taste anything like chicken. There is nothing special about the peppers, it is as hot as adding red pepper flakes to anything. The quality of these was poor to say the least, I would not recommend them.
