Does Noodles And Co Have Gluten Free Options

Gluten-Free Options at Noodles & Company

Most noodle dishes can be made gluten-free by replacing the wheat noodles with gluten-free alternatives like zoodles, cauliflower gnocchi, or pipettes, all of which are devoid of gluten-containing ingredients.

Unfortunately, Noodles & Company up-charges $1. 50 you when you order the gluten-free noodle options. There is also a $. 75 up-charge when you order zoodles.

Please make special note of the following when ordering:

  • Contrary to the gluten-free cauliflower gnocchi, the cauliflower rigatoni contains wheat!
  • There’s no need to substitute the gluten-free rice noodles used in the pad thai.
  • Some dishes include crispy jalapeños or croutons, which should be removed from your order because they contain gluten.
  • Because soy sauce is used to season the tofu, it is not gluten-free.
  • Although it is free of gluten, the grilled chicken is prepared on the same surface as the gluten-containing parmesan crusted chicken. Request that your chicken be baked by the staff rather than grilled.

Although they assured me they would wipe everything down before they make it, they were kind enough to warn me that they could not guarantee it would be free of cross contamination. Sadly, I became ill from it, so I believe there was cross-contamination. I ate there with knowledge of the risk, so just be informed if you choose to give it a try.

This place is part of my weekly lunch rotation. I place my online order, making sure to use gluten-free noodles in place of the regular ones. I also make it very clear that I’m allergic to gluten. Pad Thai, buttered noodles, and mac & cheese are all safe options. While I’ve encountered stray gluten noodles elsewhere, this location is problem-free. A manager must now swipe a card to identify an allergy order if you place one in person and mention you have one.

Never had a problem here. They ask if it is an allergy or preference. My order is the Mac and Cheese, which is excellent despite the lack of gluten-free options. I’ve had multiple meals here and have never experienced any issues.

I felt safe enough, and I didn’t get sick. The Caesar salad is yummy. The first time, I ordered extra cheese because the Mac and Cheese wasn’t cheesy enough, and it was delicious! The second time, I ordered Pad Thai, and the noodles were extremely dry. Barely any sauce again, but it tasted yummy. I should have known. I’m not sure if I’ll return, but if I do, I’ll need to have extra sauce on hand for every meal.

Noodles & Co. has a great gluten free menu. Every chain restaurant in the nation has never let me down, and the Garden City location lived up to my expectations. They have Zoodles that can be used in any dish, rice noodles for Pad Thai, and gluten-free pipette noodles.
