I raised the water’s temperature for 2 minutes to approximately 77 °C (170 °F), which was probably hot enough. To make the noodles nice and soft and cooked, I would need to let them stand for an additional 5 to 10 minutes.

There was one instance when the plastic noodle cup’s alfoil lid caught fire and burned the cup.

One of the easiest noodle dishes to prepare is cup noodles. Here’s the best way to cook cup noodles.

  • First, heat up some water until it is boiled. You can boil water in a pot, kettle, or you can also boil the water in a microwave using a microwave-safe container if you want.
  • Tear half the lid off of the cup and take out the flavor packet that consists of seasoning and oil.
  • Pour the hot water into the cup noodle until the water reaches the cup fill line.
  • Close the lid and let it sit for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • After two minutes, the noodles should be cooked. Pour the seasoning and oil into the cup and enjoy!
  • Note: Although freshly made noodles may feel harder at first, they will soften after about a minute.
