Arby’s beef isn’t all beef.

Arby’s Angus beef, which is found in many of the chain’s entrees, contains hydrolyzed soy protein which is commonly used as a flavor enhancer because it contains MSG. The beef also contains sugar, caramel color, and yeast extract—another source of MSG. That’s two doses of MSG!

The famous Louisanisa Kitchen leans heavily into using MSG to season their product. The brand’s wings, legs, thighs and breasts all use monosodium glutamate, as do several of their sides, sauces, and other me nu items like their classic crispy sandwich. See more here, last checked March 2021.
