Spaghetti in the pressure cooker is supposed to be an easy, delicious, quick meal and this Ninja Foodi Spaghetti Recipe is just that!I really wasnt sold on Spaghetti in a pressure cooker. How can you develop flavors in such a short time? Wont the noodles be soggy? I was so afraid it would taste like canned spaghetti and we dont like canned spaghetti in our house at all. Still, I wanted to give it a try. If it turned out right and tasted good, this would be such a time saver!

I made a few different pressure cooker recipes from reputable recipe creators and was quite shocked at how dry the spaghetti was (like no sauce) or it was so watery, it had no flavor. That is not how I like to eat spaghetti and my guess is, thats true for you too. I wanted it to taste just like I cooked the sauce on the stove and boiled the noodles separately. You know, traditional spaghetti; just in a fraction of the time!

So, I set out to create the easiest and best tasting Ninja Foodi Spaghetti Recipe using a few simple ingredients and here it is!

Perfectly al dente every time, Ninja Foodi pasta is quick and easy to make for a minimal effort meal.

All you need to do is pour your dry pasta, water, and salt into your Foodi pot and give it a quick stir. You want to make sure the pasta is spread evenly in the pot, and that it’s all submerged under the water. Secure and lock the pressure cooking (not attached) lid, and turn the nozzle to ‘seal’. Then, just set your Foodi to ‘pressure cook’ on low for 0 minutes. Yep, ZERO minutes. Then, let the pressure naturally release (do nothing) for 10 minutes before quick releasing the pressure by turning the nozzle to ‘vent’.

Drain any excess water (there shouldn’t be much). Serve your pasta with your favorite sauce and protein, and enjoy!

My Ninja Foodi is my absolute favorite way to cook pasta–it just comes out perfectly every time! And with minimal effort on my part. I have this bad habit of walking away from my noodles boiling on the stove just in time for them to boil over and make a mess… But you don’t ever have to worry about that when you make pasta in your Foodi! It literally couldn’t be any simpler.

If you are cooking long pasta like spaghetti, fettuccine, or vermicelli, you will need to crisscross the pasta when you add it to the pot. If you stack all of the pasta on top of each other, it will stick together, Crisscrossing the past prevents this from happening. When adding long pasta to the pot, break the pasta in half and then add to the pot by placing about 10 pieces of pasta into the pot and then crisscrossing the next 10 pieces. Continue this process until all pasta has been added. You will end up with a pile of pasta in the middle that looks similar to a haystack.

Yes, you can. The broth will add additional flavor. If using broth, you may want to reduce the amount of salt that you are adding as some broths can be rather salty.
